產品漲價不用慌,看“高手”外貿人如何通知客戶

  新年開工了,很多外貿企業由於供應鏈環節以及各類不確定因素發生了變化,工廠生產產品的資源和服務成本也隨之增加了,於是準備更新一波產品價格。換而言之,就是:要漲價了!

  那麼,作為一個外貿人,該如何通過郵件告知忠實客戶價格變動,並最大程度防止客戶流失呢?

  1、提前告知客戶

  在漲價前,要預先給客戶通知,最好提前1-2個月,並做詳細的說明,留給客戶充足的時間來調整他的銷售價格。

  2、明確提價的原因

  如果客戶已經購買同一種產品幾個月或幾年了,這使得你和外貿客戶強調產品質量的重要性至關重要。

  例如,隨著一些原材料越來越稀缺和昂貴,為了保持產品的質量,被迫提高使用這些材料的產品的價格。

  3、給報價有效期

  有些材料波動大的產品,在報價的時候,要給客戶一個報價有效期限。這樣當你調整價格時,可以以此為依據與客戶溝通。

  另外,也最好確定整個公司都知道漲價的消息,在成本差異、理由和物流等方面保持一致的聲音,避免一些不必要的麻煩。

  1.告知客戶即將漲價

  Hi,XXX,

  The loss caused by exchange rate changes should not be borne by any of us,but it exists objectively and affects our cooperation,so we cannot ignore it.

  As you see,the exchange rate has been falling for several months,but we have never raised the price with you because you are our old customer and we hope to not disturb you as much as possible.Our peers,that is,other suppliers,have raised prices with their customers last month,and we have been waiting for the exchange rate to rising,because in this case,we will not increase the price,but unfortunately,the exchange rate is still falling.In desperation,we consulting with you.Our proposal is fair to both parties,and we hope you will consider it again.Thanks,my dear sir.Hope we can have good and long cooperation.

  2.告知客戶報價有效期已過期

  Dear XXX,

  Thanks a lot for your email&sharing me the information.

  I fully understand your situation,and know that you have quoted your customer based on the price quoted you on XXXX(date).I attach the price here for your reference.You may notice that the validity of the price is on XXXX(date).

  You know,the material cost of XXXX fluctuate frequently,it has already gone up XX%.Our cost grows up even more considering also other aspects like RMB exchange rate goes up versus USD,the quick increase of the labor,transportation&energy.

  Anyway,we treasure you much as a very valuable customer,and know that you have followed this customer hard,we would like to give you a most special discount of XX%.I also would very much appreciate your kind understanding:at this price,we almost have no profit,just for you to maintain the good customer relationship,and get more orders for us in the future.
